Organizational Background
Vision 2030 Movement is a society movement that was established by a group of youth motivated by the idea of becoming custodians of governance, accountability, youth empowerment and development within their country.
It wishes to practice solidarity which will positively transform the fortunes of development in Zimbabwe. It stands as a national, nonprofit-making youth association, which is targeted to develop youth, inline with President Mnangagwa's vision of an upper middle income economy by the year 2030.
The organization was formed in 2019 and registered with the Zimbabwe Youth Council.
Membership of Vision 2030 Movement is open to anyone over the age of 10 to 35-40 years, irrespective of religion, race, political views or educational qualifications.
Participation in Vision 2030 programs requires non prior experience in related programs. Participants are encouraged to share intense enthusiasm and motivation of enhancing a culture of contributing towards national development.
Vision 2030 Movement envisions changing the lives of youth through positive engagement and creating platforms in which they can facilitate their own development especially in their communities.
Youth are every society's most essential resource. Vision 2030 Movement mission is to build youth communities all over Zimbabwe, from the grassroots of Masvingo, through the townships of Matebeleland-Bulawayo, Midlands and cityscapes of Manicaland and the whole of Mashonaland. By doing so, this will propel the development of our communities on a large scale.
Giving young people a voice in decision-making, excluding young people from having a say in decision is detrimental to all-regardless of age. Their energy and outlook are essential as they are the future leaders of tomorrow. To fulfil our vision and mission- the Movement seeks to develop the skills of young people so that they can effectively and actively engage and participate in the country's political, economic and democratic process.

This structure is aligned to the unitary system, not only for administrative and operational efficiency, but to also ensure the presence of Vision 2030 nationwide, particularly in the grassroots where majority of Zimbabweans reside.

The Management of Vision 2030 Movement will be led by a Chairperson. The management team at the Provincial and Local District levels will be constituted by Coordinators. Human Resource and Organizational Development will be given priority during the planning period. The capacity of staff to deliver the mandate of the organization will be built. Efforts will be made to ensure coordination and synergy between the National, Provincial and Local District areas.
The organization will diversify its funding through strategic partnership with government, business people, public and private companies in this regard, Vision 2030 will conduct funds mapping and develop a funndraising strategy.
Internal and external communication will enhance especially communication amongst departments and between the National Executive Committee and the provincial and local district offices. Circulars, memos, and emails will be utilized regularly to improve internal communication. Conventional amd social media will be utilized for external communication.
